For over ninety years, Kappa Delta has thrived at Ole Miss as a chapter dedicated to developing young women into strong leaders, as well as providing a quality membership experience during their collegiate years. In 2018, the Alpha Mu House Corporation recognized that if they were to still provide a premier experience for the chapter members, they needed to also provide the premier facility. After many discussions, it was decided that a rebuild of their previous home would be the best plan to meet the needs of the evolving and growing chapter.
Working with Pryor Morrow Architects and WAR Construction, the Alpha Mu House Corporation designed the plans to ensure current and future collegians would have the ideal space to call home. These plans are focusing on current and potential future needs of the chapter, while also capturing the tradition that many alumnae hold near to them from the previous home. At Alpha Mu, chapter members now have the space to meet, socialize, study, and share meals together.
