With the construction of new academic buildings, new residence halls and the addition of the University of Florida Health & Vascular Hospital, there is a new expectation for facilities on campus. It is clear that Delta Gamma must make a major investment in their chapter house if they are to remain competitive at UF, provide a quality living environment, and foster academic excellence and sisterhood. Through sorority fundraising efforts, the plans for expansion include:
-
Three-story home that will double the size of the current facility
-
Ample individual and group study spaces with wi-fi access
-
Larger bedrooms with dedicated study space and larger closets
-
Enlarged multi-functional chapter room and modern bathroom facilities
-
Built-in sprinklers and an updated alarm system
-
Increased live-in capacity to 71
-
Food service area and dining room to accommodate the entire chapter
-
Updated heating and cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems
-
ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance with accessible rooms and bathroom facilities, and an elevator.
